Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Analyst position involves working with the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to provide thorough data analysis and assisting senior HR professionals in crucial decision-making. The HR Analyst helps streamline HR processes by suggesting relevant insights and analyzing data about key HR processes. The position is responsible for the management of the Human Resource Information System, Recruitment and Onboarding as well as Benefits Administration. An HR Analyst requires strong technical, analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
This position is located in Kitchener, Ontario.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- Human resources certification (CHRP preferred)
- Equivalent education will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience working in the human resources field.
- 2+ years of experience in human resources analytics.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Duties
Human Resource Information System:
- Regular management of the HR Dashboard
- Generation of reports and letters on an as need basis.
- Access and configuration of user specific items
- Managing Employee Records, upkeep of all employee documents, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Upkeep of HR related documents/information management within SharePoint
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Development of new hire offer letters and onboarding packages.
- Management of candidate Drug & Alcohol/Background Check procedure
- Execution of employee Onboarding procedures
- Regular maintenance of drivers’ insurance policies
Employee Benefits:
- Maintenance of salaried and hourly employee benefit programs
- Overseeing completion/submission of any STD/LTD claims for employees
- Answering any staff questions regarding benefit coverage, prior authorization form submission etc.
- Communicating any Benefit coverage news/exclusions/notices to employees
- Monthly reconciliation of OpenCircle hours submission, ensuring sufficient benefit coverage/hours of current employees
