We are currently looking for a Panel Shop Wireman

The Panel Shop Wireman is responsible for the assembly of electronic components and circuit boards that are used in electrical substations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to manage time and workload effectively
  • Must maintain a high standard of work
  • Ability to read, understand and work from wiring and schematic engineering prints.
  • Able to wire up electronic components while adhering to the panel shop procedures and standards
  • Ability to read and use drawings, part numbers, and other shop documents
  • Assemble and attach hardware, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies using crimps, screws, bolts or rivets to secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
  • Must be familiar with using hand tools
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Duties:

  • Assembly of electronic components and circuit boards
  • Follow production drawings and sample assemblies, receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
  • Perform testing on assembly or final repairs

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN WIRING PANELS IS REQUIRED
