BACKGROUND (PRE-PROJECT COMMENCEMENT)
The Enmax SWCRR Access road is a 2 phase project. Phase 1 was the creation of over 1.6km of gravel access road under ENMAX 35.81L. The project was located on the west side of the City of Calgary along the newly constructed Stoney Trail Ring Road.
ACTION (ICONIC’S SCOPE & DELIVERY)
Create 3 different access points off Weaselhead Road.
- Scope included culverts and access gates.
- Topsoil stripping, sub grade preparation and gravel placement
- Compaction and reclamation was required along all 1.6km
of this access
RESULT / SOLUTION
- Scope was completed on time and on budget without incident, to client specifications.
